Learn to upload files easily with or without SFTP!

When you are uploading files with or without SFTP, it should be easy! So I will teach you the easiest way for both!

~ How to upload without SFTP:

Step 1. Ensure you have your file ready to go!

Step 2. Go to your MCSH Server Panel

Step 3. Go to your File Manager

Step 4. Find the folder you need to be in when uploading said file(s). -- IMPORTANT! You need to ensure you are in the right folder when uploading. If you upload in the wrong one, it could possibly lead to file corruption! BE CAREFUL!

Step 5. Click "Upload"

Step 6. Find the file(s) to upload, click twice, [or tap once for mobile] and it'll start uploading the file(s). DO NOT CLOSE THE PAGE UNTIL IT HAS FINISHED.

Step 7. When it's done uploading, you can now close the page!

Step 8. Done! That simple :)

~ How to upload WITH SFTP:

Disclaimer: You MUST have WinSCP or some sort of SFTP application to do this method. For mobile, it is a little more complex, refer to the applications help page to figure it out.

Step 1. Just like before, go to your Server Panel

Step 2. Go to the "File Manager" tab

Step 3. Click "SFTP" at the top

Step 4. Follow the "How to Connect" steps.

4.1. Open your SFTP client (FileZilla or WinSCP) 4.2. Enter the Host, Port, Username and Password from the connection details above 4.3. Set the protocol to SFTP (not regular FTP) 4.4. Click Connect / Login 4.5. You'll be connected to your server's file directory where you can drag and drop files

Step 5. Once you drag and drop your files into the CORRECT folder, simple!

Step 6. Once it says the files have been successfully uploaded [or it closes the SFTP uploading pop-up] you are okay to fully close the SFTP Application.

Step 7. Done!
